AIRR is a national buying, marketing and distribution group that supports independently-owned retailers (members) within the rural, pet and equine industries nationwide. We own, manage & drive several retail and private label brands of significance across both B2C & B2B, including the national network of AIRR and Tuckers independent member stores. We also own a growing network of our own retail stores, which also carry their own brand of which we manage and market.
About the opportunity:
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing Comms Specialist to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
As a key member of our marketing team based onsite at our Melbourne office & distribution centre located in the western suburbs, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand, marketing campaigns, and communication strategies for all our brands.
With a particular sales-driven and commercial focus, this exciting opportunity is perfect if you are looking for a position that encompasses various marketing disciplines from print, retail, social to email marketing, with a particularly strong focus on the consumer via ecommerce, national retail brands and our own network of retail stores.
Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing and communication strategies to promote our private-label brands and retail stores across various platforms
- Ecommerce monitoring and campaign execution for AIRR and Tuckers and our retails stores, assist in marketing via consumer websites, social platforms and email
- Drive private label brand promotion and activation through retail stores
- Be a key marketing touchpoint for member stores and retail stores nationally
- Social media updating (content and promotions) and campaign monitoring
- Web upkeep and improvements across all company websites
- Content creation and activation across all marketing platforms
- Assist in special projects across the business, working closely with the entire marketing team
- Develop and implement end-to-end marketing plans for product launches as well as assist with internal marketing events
- Conduct research on new products and identify product gaps in the market
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring collaboration across all functions of our business
About you:
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Proven proactive approach and an eye for process improvement.
- Initiative, drive, and passion – lead change & collaborate within a supportive team environment
- Possess a high level of attention to detail, especially working when scheduling communications to multiple audiences
- A team player with a proven track record who enjoys the commercial elements of marketing and exposure to various marketing disciplines
